Top SchoolShashank D is a data scientist with 12 years of cross-disciplinary experience blending statistics, economics, and product-focused ML across tech, consulting, VC, and academia. A UC Berkeley triple-major alumnus, he has built productionized pipelines and supervised models to rank startups, automate financial audits, and detect supply-chain and policy risk at scale for millions of entities. He’s driven anti-automation and business-risk initiatives at major platforms (TikTok, Meta) and delivered bespoke analytics tools and PowerBI dashboards for Fortune-scale clients while cutting manual tasks from hours to minutes. Comfortable translating complex econometric and network methods into user-friendly apps and dashboards, he also co-founded and taught Berkeley’s first code-based economics course, highlighting a rare blend of applied research and pedagogy. Based in Mountain View, he pairs deep quantitative rigor with product sensibility and a track record of deploying ML for high-impact operational and investment decisions.
