Summary
👤
SeniorShawn Kelly is a Staff Engineer based in Ann Arbor with 11 years of experience building modern front-end web and mobile applications. He has led engineering teams at Postlight and DRIVIN, shipping cross-platform products using React, React Native, Redux, Node.js and cloud services while moving teams from Backbone to modern frameworks. At SageSure and Launch by NTT DATA he’s continued to operate at staff level, focusing on scalable front-end architecture and reliable release cadence. His background spans product-facing single-page apps, native iOS/Android work, and the sysadmin-side integrations required to deploy them. Colleagues know him for combining hands-on development with design sensibility—he started as a designer-developer and still bridges UX and implementation. He’s pragmatic about trade-offs, prefers incremental delivery, and has a track record of turning small teams into high-velocity, cross-platform shops.
