Senior🎓
Top SchoolSheamus Burns is a Senior Full Stack Developer with 11 years of hands-on experience building production web applications using Ruby, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript, and a track record delivering high-impact public-sector and enterprise projects like Maryland’s State One-Stop and Financial Disclosures apps. He combines product-focused engineering with people leadership—managing small teams, modernizing CI/CD on AWS, and driving cross-functional initiatives that improved client adoption and platform integrity. Comfortable across backend, frontend, and serverless environments, he’s shipped integrations, fraud-detection systems, and user-facing features that measurably boosted retention and engagement. Beyond engineering, he’s an entrepreneurial creator: founding Bull Thistle Art Studio & Gallery to blend art, community, and tech, and now contributing to a drone-forward future at Nuvitek. Practical, design-minded, and customer-centered, Sheamus favors durable code and shipping features that tie user experience directly to business outcomes.
