Top SchoolShiva Rajagopal is a Staff Software Engineer and manager in the San Francisco Bay Area who blends deep embedded systems experience with current leadership in agentic AI for consumer health at Google/Fitbit. He has shipped multiple flagship wearables (Fitbit Sense, Versa 3, Versa Lite), led cross-functional teams through hardware-to-cloud product cycles, and now designs conversational agents that translate complex sensor and health data into personalized, on-demand insights. Comfortable toggling between low-level firmware and high-level ML infrastructure, he builds evaluation and localization pipelines while fast‑pivoting teams to leverage new AI capabilities like prompt‑tuned Gemini. A Cornell ECE graduate with internships at Tesla and Microsoft and hands-on satellite and maker‑project experience, he’s as at home debugging microcontrollers as he is mentoring engineers and running outreach programs to inspire the next generation. Colleagues know him for shipping quickly without sacrificing safety and for turning interdisciplinary prototypes into production-ready features that move user health metrics.
