Senior🎓
Top SchoolSietse Van Der Meer is a Utrecht-based owner and cross-media consultant with 11 years of hands-on experience designing accessible, user-centered web interfaces and agile client-side workflows. He blends senior frontend engineering for major organisations (Vattenfall, DNV, Sanquin) with running immerMeer, where he advises on accessible web tech, data handling and agile practices. Comfortable as both a lone executor and project lead, he also manages self-hosted infrastructure, CI/CD and DevOps for cultural organisations like Creative Coding Utrecht. His background in creative coding and founding arts festivals informs a pragmatic, design-led approach to engineering that values performance, inclusivity and measurable impact. Notably, he pairs journalistic curiosity with technical craft—previously running a real-time research project that analyzed online threats—bringing an uncommon perspective on online behaviour and privacy to product design.
