Senior🎓
Top SchoolSijia Li is a Senior Software Engineer with seven years of experience building products at ByteDance, Amazon, and Bloomberg, blending strong engineering foundations with a formal background in electrical and electronics engineering (MS from Columbia). She brings a rare mix of systems-level programming (C/C++, Java, Python, VLSI experience) and modern web/frontend skills (React, JS, HTML/CSS), allowing her to move fluidly between backend, hardware-adjacent work, and polished user-facing features. Equally fluent in information architecture, interaction and visual design, she applies an artist’s eye—honed by photography and painting—to craft thoughtful, user-centered interfaces and content strategies. Her tooling breadth spans Matlab and Cadence to Sketch, InVision and Hadoop, reflecting comfort across prototyping, simulation, and scalable production systems. Based in Beijing with a global perspective from studies in the U.S., she is driven by elegant problem-solving and multicultural collaboration. Outside work she follows a “do one thing and do it well” ethos, which surfaces in focused contributions and a curated portfolio of design-driven engineering.
