Senior🎓
Top SchoolSillas Gonzaga is a data engineer and quality analyst with a decade of experience turning messy data into business impact across fintech, credit risk, fraud prevention and marketing. He has designed production ML models and automated testing for Snowflake-based pipelines, improved credit and vehicle financing revenue, and optimized fraud detection workflows at companies like Creditas, Will Bank and Signifyd. Comfortable across Python, SQL, dbt, R, Snowflake, AWS and Looker, he bridges data engineering and analytics while also mentoring junior colleagues and teaching data science courses. Currently focused on data testing automation and observability, he pairs hands-on engineering (including Teams webhook integrations and Azure Test Plans) with stakeholder-friendly reporting. A pragmatic problem-solver, he often embeds business rules directly into test plans to catch upstream issues before they reach models or customers.
