Simi Damani
Summary
👤
SeniorSimi Damani is a Senior UI Engineer and technical lead with over a decade of full‑stack experience delivering production web applications and leading remote teams across startups and mission-driven organizations. She combines hands‑on engineering (TypeScript/React, Node, Python, PHP) with product-facing responsibilities—discovery, scoping, POCs, and architecture—to ship reliable, testable UI and data features at scale. At Regrow Ag she led delivery of scope‑3 emissions and climate‑risk tooling, establishing design systems, typesafe patterns, and documentation to improve data credibility and developer velocity. Her background spans e‑commerce, civic tech, and sustainability, and she pairs metrics-driven product work with practical UX research, A/B testing and digital marketing know‑how. Passionate about climate resiliency and agricultural systems, she prefers engineering teams that collaborate closely with scientists and applies hands‑on farm operations experience to bridge technical and domain perspectives.
