Top SchoolSimon Bromberg is a Principal Associate iOS engineer with 11 years of experience building medical and consumer mobile apps, now leading iOS efforts at Capital One from Vaughan, Ontario. He has deep hands-on expertise in native iOS (Swift/SwiftUI, camera APIs, image processing, barcode/OCR) and strong CI/CD automation skills using GitHub Actions and Fastlane. Simon has transitioned between leadership and individual contributor roles—mentoring small teams, migrating legacy code to Swift Concurrency, and shipping cross-platform React Native products when needed. His background in clinical engineering and early work on medical devices gives him a knack for translating regulatory and clinical requirements into practical, user-focused software. Colleagues describe him as pragmatic and curious, often leaning on self-study and tools like ChatGPT to quickly adopt new stacks and fix platform-specific issues.
