Summary
👤
SeniorSimon Kowallik is a Principal Solution Engineer with 11 years of experience designing secure, scalable application delivery solutions across on-premises and cloud environments. Based in Düsseldorf, he combines strategic architecture thinking with hands-on engineering to help clients thrive under real-world constraints. At F5 he focuses on bridging product capabilities and customer outcomes, translating complex requirements into operational, auditable deployments. Known among peers as a pragmatic "geek" and hacker, he enjoys both making things work and deliberately breaking them to validate resilience. His approach emphasizes security-by-design and repeatable automation, enabling teams to move faster without sacrificing reliability. Simon’s mix of consulting mindset and deep technical fluency makes him equally at home in boardroom strategy sessions and low-level troubleshooting.
