Top SchoolSimon Lucas is a senior finance technology consultant with nine years' experience and a 14-year track record in banking technology, specialising in turning complex finance requirements into auditable, business-aligned solutions. He currently leads global BCBS 239 reference data consumer alignment at Nomura, blending hybrid ITPM/BA duties to bridge fragmented producer/consumer workflows across the UK, US, India, HK and Japan. Comfortable from service desk to senior stakeholder rooms, Simon combines hands-on technical chops (UNIX, SQL, Python, SAP/OBIEE) with process architecture, crisis management and pragmatic tool-building to accelerate delivery. He has repeatedly delivered high-stakes migrations and large-scale rollouts ahead of schedule, and is known for creating process tools and training that sustain change. Colleagues describe him as a charismatic communicator and coach who builds durable cross-functional networks that materially reduce technology cost-to-value friction. He thrives in unfamiliar environments, applying a portfolio of best-in-class tactics developed alongside top finance teams to produce wins with integrity.
