Senior🎓
Top SchoolSimon Marin is a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer based in Bogotá with seven years of experience building scalable end-to-end systems across backend, frontend and cloud infrastructure. He programs primarily in Python, JavaScript and Java to build RESTful APIs (Django, FastAPI, Spring Boot) and modern UIs (React, Next.js), while optimizing data models and performance in PostgreSQL. Simon has hands-on AWS and Docker experience, authors CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and integrates LLMs (OpenAI, Claude) into products using prompt engineering and the Model Context Protocol to improve reliability. He contributes to architectural decisions and code quality through reviews and cross-functional collaboration, balancing pragmatic delivery with maintainability. An interesting detail: he pairs traditional engineering practices with applied AI techniques to make LLM behavior more deterministic in production systems.
