Summary
🤩
RockstarSimon Meggle is a founder and Robot Framework expert with 11+ years designing monitoring and test automation solutions that evaluate applications from the user's perspective, not just infrastructure. As founder of ELABIT and Senior Product Manager for Synthetic Monitoring at Checkmk, he builds Robotmk to integrate automated application tests into Checkmk and trains teams worldwide as an accredited Robot Framework Foundation partner. His background spans operations and consultancy roles at Wirecard and ConSol, giving him deep practical experience across web, UI, Citrix and SAP testing. He combines hands-on engineering—having built a fully automated web-based training platform—with product leadership to make synthetic monitoring actionable for enterprises. Based in Merching, Bavaria, he focuses on open, extensible tooling and avoiding vendor lock-in, and often bridges the gap between monitoring operators and QA engineers.
