Senior🎓
Top SchoolSimon Rijk is a founder and technology leader with 11 years of experience building web- and IoT-driven systems to accelerate the energy transition in commercial transport. Trained as an aerospace engineer at Delft, he turned systems thinking toward software, co-founding ViriCiti to make electric buses, trucks, and passenger vehicles reliable through fleet telematics and analytics. He later led fleet telematics engineering at ChargePoint and now invests and builds hardware-software ventures focused on IoT and electrification, including NauticSensors and RND Capital. Comfortable spanning product, cloud, and embedded layers, he combines deep domain knowledge of vehicles with pragmatic startup execution and a knack for connecting disparate actors via web technology. An uncommon thread in his career is moving from aerospace theory to hands-on web and fleet systems that enable full-electric operations at scale.
