Top SchoolSimone Raimondi is an R&D software engineer with a PhD in computer science from the University of Bern and a decade of industry experience across robotics, AR, and simulation products. He combines deep research expertise in frame field generation with hands-on low-level programming, profiling, and code optimization to deliver production-grade solutions. His career spans leadership and engineering roles at Arbrea Labs, Sevensense Robotics, Ansys, and Synopsys, where he moved algorithms from prototype to deployed systems. Passionate about efficient, high-quality software, he thrives at the intersection of academic research and real-world engineering, often uncovering performance wins that aren’t obvious from algorithmic improvements alone. Based in Ticino, Switzerland, he is continually expanding his toolkit and collaborating across disciplines to advance both science and product impact.
