Senior🎓
Top SchoolSina Karimi is a Lead Engineer based in Melbourne with over a decade of hands-on software experience and more than 15 years building software across startups, agencies and consulting engagements. He specializes in architecting and shipping cloud-native systems using Elixir/Phoenix, Node.js, React, GraphQL and AWS, and has led teams to deliver production platforms serving thousands of users across Australia. As a contractor he has built secure, automated AWS infrastructures with Ansible and developed consumer and enterprise products—from a mobile audio app used by journalists to a translation-as-a-service platform. His background spans full-stack development, DevOps and team leadership, and he has a knack for turning complex domain requirements (legal dispute resolution, childcare enrolment) into maintainable, scalable products. Notably, he combines startup agility with strong client-facing experience, having run his own contracting practice while leading engineering at Operative Intelligence.
