Top SchoolSinaru Gunawardena is a Senior Software Engineer with 11 years of experience delivering scalable, maintainable web applications across Rails- and React-based stacks. Based in Dublin, he has driven full-stack work and cross-functional integrations—from migrating legacy systems to Rails 6 and JSON:API endpoints to delivering LMS integrations for global clients like PwC—while improving performance and observability with tools such as Mixpanel. Comfortable across PostgreSQL, AWS/Heroku, RSpec/Jest testing and CI workflows, he pairs pragmatic engineering with mentoring, code review, and team enablement in Scrum and Kanban environments. Notably, he introduced AI-based assessment grading at Kubicle to automate feedback and boost product value, and has hands-on experience modernizing offline-first PWAs and migrating infra to managed services to reduce costs. He thrives on refactoring for maintainability, measurable performance improvements, and turning complex integration challenges into clear, production-ready solutions.
