Senior🎓
Top SchoolSkyler Swenson is a Senior Software Development Engineer with 11 years of experience building interactive, extensible systems that blend functional programming ideas into object-oriented design. Based in Hillsboro, Oregon, he has shipped production software at AWS Elemental and ECI Software Solutions while also leading indie game development at Ichoros Studios, where he single-handedly architects gameplay systems, rendering demos, and an AI-assisted RPG tool. He favors clean abstractions, polymorphism, and interfaces that are easy to delete, and approaches team work as primarily listening and collaborative refinement. Comfortable across the full stack and cloud-native tooling, he pairs strong engineering discipline with practical creativity—able to design for future use cases rather than just present requirements. An uncommon strength is his ability to transfer industry-grade testability and modularity into solo game development, producing complex, maintainable systems that span code, graphics, and deployment.
