Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolSohail Pathan is a Senior Developer Advocate with eight years of experience at the intersection of AI, developer tooling, and security, currently based in Bengaluru and working at Okta. He has a strong background in developer relations and mobile engineering—having shipped Android features like coroutine-driven notifications and OneTap sign-in for Coding Blocks—and has led developer communities and programs that scaled ambassador networks and engagement. Sohail blends hands-on engineering (notably contributions to an Android app serving online course users) with developer enablement, having headed developer relations and driven product-focused outreach at startups like Moreficent and ApyHub. He pairs technical writing training with practical mentorship experience, which helps him translate complex security and AI topics into actionable guidance for engineers. Less obvious: he balances product-focused developer advocacy with solid implementation chops, moving fluidly between shipping code and shaping developer ecosystems.
