Senior🎓
Top SchoolSon Nguyen is an experienced software leader with nine years building and operating web and cloud-native systems, currently serving as Assistant Director of Analytics and Technology Solutions at the Conrad Blucher Institute. He combines hands-on engineering—CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, data-backed web apps and GIS-enabled databases—with program management as a Scrum Master, technical product owner, and resource planner. Son has repeatedly turned research needs into production services that supported long-running funded projects and student teams, and he mentors developers while hiring and shaping teams. Pragmatic and automation-focused, he emphasizes removing tedium to free time for creative collaboration, and he’s comfortable across the stack from infrastructure and Terraform/Ansible to TypeScript, Python, and PostGIS. An MS in Computer Science and a history of sustaining a high-use open-source institutional archive reflect his knack for durable, research-oriented software.
