Senior🎓
Top SchoolSøren Engel is an experienced technology leader with 11+ years building and scaling engineering organizations across SaaS and product-focused companies. Currently Director at Terma Group after leading engineering at Linkfire, he has repeatedly grown teams quickly and then optimized them into lean, high-performing units spanning frontend, backend, data, and infrastructure. He combines hands-on architectural experience—driving monolith-to-microservice migrations and cloud-native .NET initiatives—with strong operational discipline, including SLA-driven on-call systems and SOC 2 readiness roadmaps. Known for building career frameworks, hiring strategies, and knowledge-sharing practices, he aligns engineering delivery tightly with business goals and product outcomes. Based in Helsingør, Denmark, he pairs pragmatic technical depth with a solution-oriented leadership style that emphasizes trust, accountability and measurable results. A less obvious strength is his blend of early-career hands-on development and later-stage enterprise architecture experience, enabling him to coach engineers through both code-level details and long-term strategic decisions.
