Sourabh Suri is an AR/VR systems engineer based in Tokyo with nine years of experience bridging electrical engineering, embedded systems, and XR platform development at Sony Electronics. He holds an MTech from IIT Bombay and a BTech in Electrical and Electronics, and has moved from control- and power-focused roles into immersive systems, bringing hardware-first rigor to AR/VR system design and integration. His background includes hands-on servo control, PLC programming, and ML-driven document classification, which gives him a rare blend of low-level hardware, firmware and applied machine learning familiarity. At IIT Bombay he supported large-scale lab programs and coordinated campus recruitment efforts, showing an ability to manage technical programs and stakeholder logistics beyond pure engineering. Known for an engineering mindset and practical problem solving, he maintains a public portfolio (sourabh-suri.github.io) that highlights his cross-disciplinary projects and prototypes.
