Summary
🎓
Top SchoolSowrya Gali is a Senior Software Engineer with seven years of experience building and scaling revenue-impacting products under tight timelines and ambiguous requirements. At AlphaROC he led the company’s first AI analytics product from prototype to production, shipped revenue-driving features like demographic analytics, and improved latency and stability of core survey infrastructure under real production load. He previously co-founded Gruppay, a payments startup selected in the top 10% of YC W2024 applicants, where he owned backend architecture, integrations with Stripe and Square, and an MVP used by 100+ users and vendors. Comfortable across backend systems, data pipelines, infrastructure, and AI workflows, he favors rapid learning and customer impact over premature perfection. Based in Newark, NJ, he pairs Columbia MS-level CS training and IIT Hyderabad undergraduate rigor with hands-on ownership of product, reliability, and payments concurrency challenges. He thrives in roles with direct accountability, real constraints, and measurable outcomes.
