Summary
👤
SeniorSpandan Brahmbhatt is a Sr II Data Scientist with 11+ years of experience building large-scale predictive systems at the intersection of cybersecurity, behavioral biometrics, and applied deep learning. He has led end-to-end ML efforts at Akamai and Arkose Labs to detect and mitigate sophisticated bot and scraper networks, and holds a provisional patent for traffic anomaly forecasting. At Yum! Brands he applied transformer-based computer vision and geospatial modeling to improve drive-thru operations and global site selection, giving him rare product-to-P&L perspective as a franchise owner. He combines research-grade techniques (autoencoders, transformers) with production-scale engineering (Spark, Athena, high-throughput pipelines) to ship defenses that operate on petabyte traffic flows. An experienced mentor and part-time lecturer, he translates complex theory into practical curricula and cross-functional roadmaps. Known for a "cat-and-mouse" obsession with staying ahead of adversaries, he focuses on human-centric security that minimizes customer friction while hardening platforms.
