Senior🎓
Top SchoolSpartak Bughdaryan is a Senior NLP Engineer with 9 years of experience building production NLP and ML systems, currently leading NLP work at Metric. He has driven feature engineering and modeling pipelines at Pinsight and specialized in research and development of large language models and urban ML applications. A strong proponent of Explainable AI and causality, he blends applied statistics (MS candidate) with practical engineering to make models interpretable and robust. Beyond ML, he’s a seasoned systems tinkerer who created his own Linux-based OS and is fluent in Vim, reflecting deep low-level and developer-tool expertise. Based in Yerevan, Armenia, he brings a rare combination of research rigor and hands-on implementation, comfortable moving models from prototype to production. If not optimizing model explainability, he’s likely optimizing his dotfiles or debating Vim tricks.
