Senior🎓
Top SchoolSpencer L is a founder and robotics researcher with nine years of experience building interdisciplinary systems that fuse multispectral computer vision, real-time sensor fusion, mixed-modality SLAM, and low-latency wireless robotics networks. Based in Blacksburg, he leads Corvus Labs and now serves as Farseer at a stealth startup, applying emerging AI/ML paradigms—from classic detection and 3D reconstruction to generative models and neural operators—to real-world robot teams and simulation. His work emphasizes dataset-independent Test & Evaluation metrics and high-fidelity synthetic data generation to validate autonomous, collaborative air–ground systems. Trained in computational and applied mathematics at Virginia Tech with minors in nanoscience and intellectual property law, he blends rigorous modeling with practical system engineering and an eye for the legal and simulation fidelity challenges of deploying autonomy.
