Top SchoolSriniketh Dasarraju is a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with nine years of hands-on experience building and operating cloud-native distributed systems, now based in New York and currently at PayPal. He holds an MS in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo and has driven measurable reliability and cost improvements—most notably migrating a Prometheus metrics pipeline to OpenTelemetry/Splunk Observability, saving over $1M annually while raising SLOs from 95% to 99%. Skilled in Go, Kubernetes, CI/CD and IaC, he’s designed self-service alerting tools, led large-scale data migrations, and automated infrastructure provisioning with Pulumi and Terraform. Sriniketh is an active mentor and practitioner of post-mortem-driven reliability improvements, with tangible experience contributing to open-source projects like signalfx-go and splunk-open-telemetry. He combines deep operational rigor with developer ergonomics, favoring self-service platforms that cut toil and accelerate delivery. Notably, he blends systems-level engineering with product-minded migrations—moving 50TB of container images with minimal downtime—showing both technical depth and operational finesse.
