Senior🎓
Top SchoolStan Carney is a seasoned founder and technologist with 13+ years building payment platforms, fintech startups, and embedded systems from Calgary. He co-founded and led technical strategy at multiple high-growth companies—Redfall/Vogogo, World Vertical, CoinIn, and Equity.IO—designing scalable architectures that processed millions in transactions daily while navigating regulatory and banking partnerships. Comfortable at the intersection of product, compliance, and engineering, he turns legacy hardware and complex business workflows into automated, production-grade solutions. His hands-on background ranges from low-level embedded work to large Java enterprise systems and team leadership, informed by a childhood spent inventing practical machines on a family farm. Pragmatic and inventive, Stan is as adept at recruiting and mentoring teams as he is at shipping resilient, auditable systems that unlock new business models.
