Senior🎓
Top SchoolStan Van De Burgt is a technical product owner and serial entrepreneur with 11+ years of experience building internet products, software architectures, and startup teams across Europe and the Bay Area. He co-founded multiple startups (including WatchMouse and Q-go) that were acquired by US companies, and has served in hands-on roles from CTO to advisor and business development. Stan blends research roots with pragmatic product delivery, having moved from a decade in research to founding companies and later advising large firms like CA Technologies and Lloyds Banking Group. He focuses on self-service concepts, technical due diligence, and creating scalable internet services while also recruiting and mentoring development teams. Based in Utrecht but with strong ties to Palo Alto, he brings an operator’s mindset plus founder-level ownership to product strategy and technical execution. An uncommon detail: he repeatedly turns research insight into commercial products, driving exits through both engineering and business development.
