Top SchoolStefan Bourlon is a Founding Senior Software Engineer based in Vancouver with over a decade building resilient, cloud-native backend systems and deployment tooling. He designs and ships reproducible CI/CD and DevOps solutions across PaaS and container platforms, having led architecture and operations for large-scale microservice fleets, predictive maintenance pipelines, and API gateway initiatives at Boeing, CA Technologies, and HPE. Stefan combines hands‑on systems engineering—from low-level embedded drivers to global load‑balanced microservices—with product-minded delivery as a founding engineer and short stints as a product owner. He’s skilled in automating complex deployments (Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, OpenStack, Terraform, Docker) and improving MTTR through monitoring and plugin-based alerting. A practical problem-solver, he repeatedly turns multi-hour/manual ops into minutes of automated, idempotent workflows that accelerate developer velocity and customer deployments.
