Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolStefan Bylund is a seasoned Senior Software Developer based in Stockholm with a long-running focus on Java, having programmed professionally since 1996 and contributed to multiple Java VM ports. He blends deep expertise in desktop and web GUIs (GWT, SWT/JFace, Swing) with modern front-end work using React and Redux, and has eight years of professional Eclipse plugin development under his belt. Stefan’s background spans embedded systems, tooling and runtime work—porting runtimes and C libraries for OSE and owning the Optima tools suite—so he comfortably navigates low-level systems and high-level UX alike. At Nasdaq and previously at Cinnober he has been a full-stack developer concentrated on responsive, real-time financial systems, and he also builds and maintains his own multilingual fund web app as a hobby. Comfortable across Windows, Linux and Solaris and fluent with build/debug toolchains and VCS, he is the kind of engineer who bridges compilers, debuggers and polished front-ends.
