Senior🎓
Top SchoolSteffen Lindner is a research scientist and software engineer with 11 years of experience focused on P4, SDN, high-performance networking, Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) and resilient systems. He combines academic rigor—culminating in a Dr. rer. nat. in Computer Science from the University of Tübingen—with applied research roles at the university and industry R&D at ABB Corporate Research. As a long-term independent software developer since 2016, he bridges prototype research and production-ready networking solutions, often working at the intersection of programmable data planes and real-time networking guarantees. Known for making TSN and P4 concepts practical, he brings both low-level packet-plane expertise and system-level resilience thinking to industrial networking challenges. Based in Mannheim, Germany, he pairs deep protocol knowledge with an educator’s background, which helps translate complex research into usable engineering outcomes.
