Senior🎓
Top SchoolStepan Pyzhov is a Principal Software Engineer based in Berlin with eight years of experience building scalable backend systems and developer tooling across marketplaces, logistics, and high-load platforms. He has led small teams and driven architecture for mobile APIs, high-throughput statistics ingestion, and resilient import pipelines, and today shapes platform engineering at McMakler. Stepan has a strong Golang focus—authoring a public library (ajson) and creating service skeletons, base images, and local integration tooling for AWS Lambdas—while also automating migration and on-call workflows via bespoke CLI tools. He’s comfortable moving monoliths toward microservices, dockerizing legacy projects, and solving operational pain points engineers face in production. A pragmatic technical leader, he blends hands-on implementation with tooling and process improvements that reduce toil and speed delivery.
