Top SchoolStephen Bianamara is a senior software engineer and architect in Seattle with 11 years of experience building search, content intelligence, and data pipeline systems. He led design and delivery of Panopto’s Smart Search and Smart Chapters as a technical lead and now continues to tackle pragmatic engineering challenges at EchoMark. With a PhD in mathematics and a background teaching advanced analysis, he blends deep theoretical insight (notably in linear algebra and PageRank-style methods) with hands-on production engineering. Colleagues describe him as a math-minded pragmatist who balances optimism about technology with healthy skepticism, and he brings that lens to system architecture and algorithmic problems. Outside work he’s a pancake lover and GitHub-active dev/architect, signaling a curious, craft-focused approach to software.
