Top SchoolStephen Zhang is a pragmatic technology executive and co-founder with 10+ years building high-throughput, low-latency enterprise systems and mobile internet products from China. As COO of Tingwei Tech he led product and operations for wireless healthcare, LBS, AR browsing and mobile loyalty platforms while managing cross-country teams with P&L, HR and go-to-market responsibilities. His hands-on background as a senior Java/J2EE and webMethods engineer spans trading systems, enterprise integration (EAI/ESB), and multi-tier web apps using Spring, Hibernate, JMS and Oracle. Stephen combines deep systems-level expertise—concurrency, network programming and performance tuning—with practical startup execution, having moved from consultancy roles at Macquarie and CustomWare to founding product-focused ventures. A former UTS computer science graduate, he still signals his developer roots in playful GitHub notes, reflecting a continued curiosity about hands-on programming.
