Senior🎓
Top SchoolSteve Goldberg is a seasoned technology investor and operator with a Ph.D. in electrical engineering and decades of hands-on leadership in wireless, IoT, and embedded systems. Currently a Partner at DYDX Capital, he previously led venture investments at Finistere and Venrock and has been CEO of multiple early-stage companies commercializing wireless, antenna, and video analytics technologies. He serves on boards across agtech, EV batteries, and industrial automation (including SolidPower and CropX), bringing a rare combination of deep R&D pedigree and deal-making experience. Steve still advises startups, provides expert witness testimony on IP and patents, and has shepherded numerous exits and NASDAQ listings—evidence of a career that spans invention, commercialization, and governance. Not obvious from the title: he began his career building SIGINT systems and technical training programs, giving him both defense-grade systems exposure and an educator’s perspective on complex tech.
