Senior🎓
Top SchoolSteve Taylor is a pragmatic software engineer with 11 years of experience who designed and continues to maintain a mission-critical 3-tier heavy salvage auction tracking system using C#, WPF, WCF, and MySQL. Lately he’s expanded into cloud-native web services with Go and React (including React Native experiments) to migrate the desktop suite into a distributed, multi-tenant nxEquip platform that handles login/management, multi-location work orders, invoicing, and auction conversions. He pairs hands-on implementation with an eye for tooling and database design, proven by a point-of-care internship project that simulates barcode-verified medication administration for nurse training. Based in Panama City, FL, he’s finishing a B.A.Sc. in Technology Management after earning an AS in Software & Database Development, and brings a background in graphics/input programming and tool creation dating back to 1995. A detail many miss: he both engineered the original desktop system and now leads its cloud rearchitecture, blending long-term product ownership with modern distributed systems work.
