Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolSteven Goldsmith is a DevOps engineer and architect with 13 years of hands-on experience designing and operating scalable, fault-tolerant systems for high‑volume platforms across retail, telecom, and media. He has led end-to-end solutions from embedded IoT and ARM-based private clouds to Java EE and Spring back ends, improving performance (often hundreds of percent) and reducing processing windows from days to minutes. Comfortable shifting between coding, CI/CD, and on-call infrastructure work, he has modernized builds and deployments (Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Ansible) and tuned middleware like WSO2, WebLogic/Tomcat and distributed caches (Hazelcast/JCache). Notably, he has implemented creative low-cost hardware strategies and computer-vision smart-camera projects as a consultant, showing a rare blend of enterprise architecture and hardware-level innovation. Based in Florida, he combines pragmatic problem-solving with a willingness to "get his hands dirty" in labs to unblock teams and deliver measurable business outcomes.
