Top SchoolSteven Holder is a seasoned software engineering leader with 15+ years of experience building full-stack, cloud-native systems and orchestrating background distributed workflows for scale. Currently Director of Software Engineering at Walmart after leading platform and content services at VIZIO and Starz, he blends hands-on engineering (C#, .NET Core, Python, JS frameworks) with operational ownership across development, project management, and customer-facing roles. He has repeatedly led cloud migrations and designed cost-effective, hybrid data-processing platforms that power global content fulfillment and discovery. Comfortable across frontend frameworks, backend services, and infrastructure (AWS-certified, Docker, Elasticsearch), he is equally at home drafting architecture or shipping code. Notably, his career spans both enterprise product leadership and long-running freelance/open-source consultancy work, reflecting deep technical breadth and pragmatic delivery focus.
