Top SchoolStewart Webb is a Senior Site Reliability Engineer based in Melbourne with 12 years of experience hardening production systems through improved observability, monitoring, and alerting. He brings hands-on expertise across DevOps, backend development (Python/Django, C#/ASP.NET, Rails), and systems administration, having run Prometheus, Elasticsearch and Grafana stacks for both commercial and event-scale deployments. Stewart has a track record of building resilient logging and observability pipelines for large organisations like Commonwealth Bank and maintaining mission-critical applications such as a large-scale ticketing and access control system used at the Melbourne Cup. He combines academic rigour—a Master’s in Computer Science and an exchange at ETH Zürich—with practical ops experience from AWS-hosted platforms and on-prem rack clusters. Notably, he moves comfortably between coding, infrastructure and mentoring roles (tutoring computer systems at university), which helps translate complex operational requirements into reliable, observable services.
