Top SchoolSujay Venaik is a backend-focused software engineer with nine years of experience building scalable systems and databases, currently at Stripe after a multi-year tenure at Postman. He architected and decoupled Postman’s Workspaces layer from a legacy monolith, migrated ~150 million records with zero downtime, and built foundational feed, sync and real-time collaboration systems that emphasize data consistency and conflict resolution. Comfortable across the full backend lifecycle, Sujay combines deep systems design with hands-on work on storage layers and long-running background job strategies. He’s also an active mentor and technical leader who drives cross-team initiatives and research-led proofs of concept to reduce operational risk. A detail-oriented engineer from Bengaluru, he brings both production-grade reliability and a knack for turning complex distributed problems into pragmatic, ship-ready solutions.
