Senior🎓
Top SchoolSumeet Moray is a founder and software entrepreneur with 11 years of experience building hyperlocal e-commerce, delivery, and location-based platforms that empower small businesses and local economies. Based in Pune, he has launched multiple startups—Nearby Shops, Rapidkart, Sarthika and most recently Zoomil—combining hands-on engineering with product-led approaches to make everyday services more accessible and personalized. He codes as an entrepreneur, shipping end-to-end systems from Android apps to Spring Boot backends and relational databases, and has freelanced across SQL/Postgres, REST APIs and mobile development. His work is driven by a social-first vision—articulated in his book Social Life and Economics—to design sustainable, equitable tech that simplifies life for common people. Unusually for a founder, he balances product-scale ambition with grassroots impact, having helped entrepreneurs worldwide start local e-commerce businesses.
