Top SchoolSumit Pannalall is a software development manager with 22+ years in IT and a nine-year track record in hands-on engineering leadership, currently building an end-to-end supply chain platform at Tesco to improve availability, reduce waste, and optimize cost-to-serve. He has led high-throughput, mission-critical systems at Amazon (handling tens of thousands of transactions per second) and overseen cross-product data portability at Atlassian, demonstrating strength in both reliability at scale and complex product lifecycles. Sumit blends people leadership—performance management and career development—with deep technical ownership, from API and SDK design to distributed services and CI/CD practices. His background spans consumer mobile at AOL, enterprise analytics at Altisource, and community platforms at Khoros, giving him a rare mix of product empathy and low-level engineering craft. Comfortable collaborating with global, cross-functional stakeholders, he excels at turning ambiguous business goals into prioritized, resilient engineering plans. Colleagues describe him as a pragmatic builder who pairs operational rigor with a bias for shipping impactful outcomes.
