Top SchoolSumit Srivastava is a serial founder and technical leader with nine years building high-impact products across search, edtech, payments and security. Based in San Francisco, he founded Coveri, a viral medical search engine that reached millions through social sharing and media coverage, and now leads Cotyper, a startup that performs deep security scans for modern app frameworks. He has worked alongside pioneers of computing—mentoring at Sugar Labs with former MIT Media Lab leadership—and contributes at the board level to open-source education projects creating languages and OSes. His hands-on ML/data experience includes contributions to dataset efforts like The Pile V2 and Codepile as a supercomputer user at Stability AI, giving him rare exposure to large-scale dataset curation and Slurm-based workflows. Sumit combines product intuition that saved lives in a crisis with low-level technical chops in security and dataset engineering, and outside work he codes while playing fingerstyle guitar and ukulele.
