Top SchoolSungjae Jang is a Senior Lead Software Engineer based in Seoul with 11 years of professional experience building large-scale backend systems, cloud infrastructure, and consumer services. He has led engineering teams and product architecture at companies from NAVER and Samsung to startups where he served as CTO, combining hands-on implementation (Java, Go, Spring, AWS EKS) with organizational process and DevOps ownership. Recent work focuses on ransomware protection product development while prior roles include leading real-time transit data at NAVER, FLO music service architecture, and end-to-end platform builds for kiosk and smart-factory automation. He consistently bridges low-level system engineering (distributed file systems, real-time ingest) with product leadership and is comfortable switching between technical ownership and executive strategy. Notably, his background spans antivirus and security work early in his career through modern cloud-native architectures, giving him a rare blend of systems-security and cloud production experience.
