Software Engineer
Summary
👤
SeniorSupun Wanniarachchi is an engineering manager and senior technical lead with a decade of hands-on full‑stack experience, currently leading mobile engineering at Sysco LABS Sri Lanka where he helped re-architect and ship a native iOS replacement for a React Native e‑commerce app that now supports over $20B in annual transactions. He blends mobile-first craftsmanship (Swift, RxSwift, modular iOS architectures) with backend and cloud expertise—GraphQL BFFs, NodeJS, Java microservices and AWS—bringing research-stage ideas to production-ready systems. A long-time open-source mentor in Google Summer of Code and Jenkins projects, he routinely improves developer experience and system scalability (message brokers, logging strategies, test pyramids). Known for curiosity-driven problem solving, he pairs pragmatic design with delivery discipline across databases, messaging, and CI/CD pipelines.
