👤
SeniorSusan Li is a Software Engineer Tech Lead with 9 years of experience, currently leading Asana’s CI/CD efforts from San Francisco to accelerate deployment velocity and simplify build pipelines. She specializes in Bazel build systems, infrastructure-level CI optimizations, and cost-conscious migrations that maintain performance while reducing complexity. Her background blends hands-on full-stack development, production microservices, and security-minded infrastructure work from internships and early roles at Lyft, Facebook, and startups. Susan has repeatedly delivered measurable improvements—faster CI runs, cheaper pipelines, and streamlined deployment processes—while mentoring teams through technical migrations. A Waterloo Computer Engineering alumna, she pairs rigorous technical foundations with pragmatic leadership and a taste for making complex distributed workflows easier to understand and operate. An understated strength is her ability to translate deep infrastructure changes into clearer developer experiences that measurably improve productivity.
