Top SchoolSven Peldszus is an Assistant Professor and security-focused researcher with 11 years of experience studying the security of ML-enabled and other critical software systems. His work blends empirical studies and constructive, model-based methods to align design-time security planning with implementation realities, aiming for research that is both rigorous and practically impactful. He has progressed from tool-building and model synchronization work during his PhD and research associate roles to postdoctoral and faculty positions across Europe, now based in Gothenburg. Sven often tackles long-lived, highly interconnected systems and explores automated approaches to keep models, code, and program analyses synchronized—addressing structural decay and evolving security assumptions that many teams overlook.
