Senior🎓
Top SchoolSwapnil Patel is a software engineer with nine years of experience, currently building Android Automotive at Google from the San Francisco Bay Area. He combines practical backend automation skills—having built Python and C# bots to manage social community tasks and parse web data—with hands-on systems and simulation work from leading USC AUV software and simulator teams. Swapnil has experience across the stack, including Unity, ROS, OpenCV, PID control, Java servlets, and production services from internships that improved migration and import workflows. He mentors and teaches, having served as a course producer running labs and office hours for software engineering students. Comfortable bridging research-grade prototypes and production code, he brings a pattern of shipping tooling that reduces manual effort and debugging time. Outside core roles he stays curious and builds small automation projects, reflecting a hacker’s instinct to simplify repetitive workflows.
