Top SchoolSydney Satchwill is a Senior Software Engineer with 11 years building backend systems and developer tooling, currently shaping ads reporting infrastructure at Netflix from Oakland. She brings deep Ruby and Unix expertise alongside practical experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud migrations—having driven a major Rails monolith cutover at Braintree. Her Netflix tenure spans studio production pipelines, talent data platforms, and ads measurement, reflecting a knack for data quality and operational observability at scale. Comfortable across databases, JavaScript, and polyglot tooling, she pairs hands-on implementation with cross-team engineering influence. A Rose‑Hulman CS graduate who continued graduate study at the University of Chicago, Sydney blends rigorous academic grounding with pragmatic, production-first engineering.
